• As there is no bar for guests to sit by at Caractère, we kindly ask guests to arrive at the time of your booking so as to avoid crowding by the door. We appreciate your understanding.

•  Caractère welcomes families with children but does not provide high chairs or changing facilities for infants.

•  If you are celebrating a special occasion with us, we are more than happy to create a cake for the occasion. Please send an email to contact@caractererestaurant.com for more details. 

•Please inform us prior to dining of any dietary requirements and we will do our utmost to accommodate.

• To ensure smooth running of service, please be advised that the tasting menu must be chosen by the whole table

• Dress code: Casual

• If food is taken off the restaurant premises you are responsible for its safe storage and handling

•  The entire restaurant can be booked for special events (up to 40 guests) and is ideal for celebratory lunches and dinners throughout the year. Chef will create a bespoke menu tailored to your preferences.

• When accepting bookings over the telephone, we will ask for your credit or debit card details to secure the reservation.

We operate a 48-hour cancellation policy for parties up to 6 and a 72-hour cancellation policy for parties of 6 or more. Late cancellation or no shows will incur a fee of £92 per person. Any charges will be taken from the credit/debit card provided at the time of the booking. Please note that the cancellation fee applies to all bookings, even those made within 48h of the time of the reservation.
